Story-Driven Journey

Bold type, empowering visuals, and dynamic interactions reflect the foundation's vibrant ethos. Smooth scrolling and playful animation keep the experience lively, with every movement and color pop feeling intentional as it guides users through the report. The structure balances a clear linear path, true to the start-to-finish nature of an annual report, with the flexibility to jump between key sections.

Nested Menu

To provide a stand-alone experience while keeping the annual report on the main foundation site, a bottom-left nested menu was introduced. This secondary navigation offers quick access to key sections and acts as a fixed companion throughout the user’s journey, enabling seamless transitions between pages.

Subpages

The subpages are where content takes center stage. Each of the nine sub-pages continues the playful, energetic design established on the landing page, incorporating subtle animations and movement that delight users without detracting from the reading experience. The challenge was to balance interactivity with readability, ensuring users remain engaged while navigating text-heavy sections. The solution: intentional animations that guide the eye, creating an enjoyable yet focused reading experience.

Print-Ready Annual Report

In translating the digital experience to a print PDF version, we maintained the foundation’s vibrant, energetic aesthetic. The design is clean and bold, with large fonts and strong color usage ensuring that the report remains engaging even in static form. The PDF retains the usability and legibility required for print, while still reflecting the playful energy of the web version, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across formats.

The 2024 annual report successfully blends dynamic interactivity with vibrant design to reflect the foundation’s mission of improving health equity. The final product offers an immersive experience that is both playful and informative.
